TWO A DAYS! REPORT

Twin Valley had 29 present during both sessions of the first day of two a days. The turnout was a pleasant surprise for head coach Charlie Vandyke. The Panthers also had 3 sitting out who were awaiting a late evening physical making their first day total 32. Notable no-shows were Brandon Helton, the solid running back who got plenty of reps last year. A knee injury is preventing him from practicing, or at least that appears to be the problem. The offense put in several plays and the players were adapting to the new system quickly. TV is going from 8:00 to 11:00 in the morning and from 5:00 to 8:00 in the evening. Whats up with the rest of the district?

Haysi had somewhere around 30. Practice today was 9-12 and 4-6:30. They are looking better than last year but not sure if they are better than the team from 2 years ago. Only time will tell. Offense is going smoother than last year for sure. Defense looks like that same ole Tiger D.
